Dr. Monisha Mallik, Chiropractic Physician

Dr. Monisha Mallik found her passion for movement and wellness as a Ballroom Dance competitor. Her chiropractic education and competitive dance years paralleled one another as she quickly realized that the old school approach to care did not support the demands of her movement goals. She found that evidence based, individualized treatments were the best way to optimize strength and mobility. Each person had their own needs to approach their life, which could not be done with passive and outdated modalities, such as: TENS units, hot packs and adjustments that led to years of treatment with no end in sight. 

Today, Dr. Mallik is a board certified Chiropractic Physician with 8+ years of experience. In addition to her training at an evidence based Chiropractic University, she furthered her training with: Active Release Technique, Postural Restoration, Neurokinetic Therapy, Rocktape Performance, and Reiki. She is excited to offer care from both the physical and emotional perspective, as they are both drivers to our overall health. 

With a passion for changing the course of Chiropractic care and how people approach their own wellness, she started her own practice in Union Square, NYC. Here, she treats people of all ages, with diverse backgrounds and health & movement goals to help them optimize their everyday life. She approaches each patient’s case with a clean slate because she knows that what works for one, will not work for another – nor should it.
